Launched in 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana aims at providing affordable housing to the economically backward section of the society. Under this scheme, the government provides opportunities to those looking to purchase a home but lacking financial strength for the same.
Since PMAY caters to the requirements of individual hailing from both rural and urban areas in the country, government releases a Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list for beneficiaries under both categories. Currently, this scheme is running in its third stage, which began in 2019 and will continue till 2022.
Presently, government plans to provide 2 crore houses to the individuals in the third phase. Individuals who dream of owning a pucca house can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme. But before that, individuals must be aware of the process to check the PMAY list.
PMAY list for rural population
Prospective applicants can check the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list using two different methods -
- With enrolment number
- Without enrolment number
Candidates need to follow a few steps for both the processes; these are mentioned below:
- Individuals need to visit official website of PMAY Gramin.
- Next, they need to click on “Stakeholder” option, and a drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “PMAYG Beneficiary” option from the menu.
- Currently, to enlist their name under PM Awas Yojana list by using enrolment number, applicants need to follow these rules.
- Now, applicants need to enter enrolment number on the page that appears.
Without enrolment number
To get into the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list, applicants need to click on the “Advanced Search” option, fill in the PMAY structure carefully and check for the beneficiary’s name.
Without appearing on the PMAY list, one can’t enjoy the key benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme.
